Secretary, ITRA Board of Directors Chairperson, ITRA Business Development Committee Carrie Holstead has spent twenty-two years working in corporate real estate. As the founder of Carrie S. Holstead Real Estate Consultants, Inc. in 1989, she is the owner of the longest established tenant/buyer representation firm currently operating from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with others following more than 10 years later. Carrie serves in the office of Secretary on the ITRA Board of Directors and is Chairperson of the ITRA Business Development Committee. In January 2006, was recognized with the Award Of Excellence for her International contribution to the organization. Prior to establishing Carrie S. Holstead Real Estate Consultants, Inc., Carrie was the Leasing Director for the Soffer Organization, a large owner of commercial real estate and retail in Pittsburgh, with additional holdings in North Carolina and Florida. She was responsible for representing the landlord’s interests in structuring and negotiating new leases. Prior to this, she was in charge of developing a database of building and space availabilities for Cushman & Wakefield of Pennsylvania, a Rockefeller-owned commercial real estate firm with over sixty offices. Her department was responsible for generating up to date availability and market information for clients, as well as producing overview reports for the business community and newspapers. Carrie has been consistently recognized by CoStar Realty Group, a leading provider of information services to the commercial real estate industry in the United States, as being a "Top Power Broker" and has regularly been featured in the Pittsburgh Business Times list of largest real estate transactions. Recently, Carrie was the local broker to provide tenant representation services for the largest suburban lease of 2004. Lanxess, a spin-off of Bayer Corporation, leased nearly 100,000 square feet for its headquarters.
