Debra Stracke Anderson is founder and president of Sloan Street Advisors, Inc. / ITRA, an international commercial real estate firm based in the Washington DC area. The company provides transactional representation, brokerage and consulting services for corporate tenants and buyers of commercial properties in the District of Columbia and its suburbs, in addition to representing clients on an international basis. Ms. Anderson founded the firm in 2000 following a nearly 20 year career as an executive with regional and international commercial real estate organizations. Her company represents clients ranging from private investors and entrepreneurial entities to Fortune 500 companies in their real estate matters.

Sloan Street Advisors, Inc. serves as the Washington DC affiliate for the International Tenant Representative Alliance (ITRA), the largest organization devoted exclusively to tenant and buyer representation. With its service across North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Pacific Rim, ITRA is active in more than 70 U.S. and overseas markets, providing clients with principal-level representation worldwide. Ms. Anderson serves as chairman of the board of directors for ITRA and is former chair of the conference program committee.  She received the 2009 Exemplary Service Award conferred by ITRA to recognize outstanding leadership and contributions to the organization.

Ms. Anderson's previous positions included tenures as Director of Commercial Leasing for Gates, Hudson & Associates, Regional Vice President of Leasing and Marketing for COMPASS Management and Leasing and Managing Director of Asset Services for Insignia/ESG.  She holds principal real estate broker licenses in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland and has earned both the SIOR and CCIM industry designations.

Ms. Anderson is a member of the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Real Estate and the Society of Industrial and Office Real Estate and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member of the CCIM Institute.   She is a frequent author for business publications and is a charter member of Success in the City, a network of C-suite businesswoman in Washington, D.C. Ms. Anderson also serves on the board of directors for Stop Child Abuse Now (www.scanva.org) and on the advisory council for Programs for Youth (www.programsforyouth.org).
